The next Redstone 5.1 update is approaching
Many Redstone customers are currently running version 5.1.81. Our next update, Redstone 5.1.141, brings the platform forward with a collection of practical improvements shaped around the way teams build, manage and connect their day-to-day workflows.
We expect the rollout across customer environments to take about 2–3 weeks. We will coordinate the update with customers as it is scheduled for their environments, so teams have a clear window to plan around.
What’s coming in 5.1.141
This update adds refinements across the Redstone experience, data handling and integrations. Highlights from the release notes include:
A more consistent interface
- Even card heights within a row make multi-card layouts feel more orderly and easier to scan.
- Dashboard visibility controls let users hide or show dashboard options from the menu.
- Custom record lengths for Redstone data tables give teams more control over how much data is shown at a time.
More flexibility for connected workflows
- Email support for multiple MIME types broadens the kinds of message content Redstone can handle.
- Customer-list uploads for POS systems support practical point-of-sale data workflows.
- A control for delivery-integration options gives teams a clearer way to manage that integration behavior.
- Improved POS synchronization and terminal-sync fixes help keep connected systems moving together.
Smoother everyday behavior
The release notes also include fixes and refinements for forums, dropdowns and navigation. These cover forum queries that use session values, forum element handling, dropdown preloading, and correct handling of quotes and URL-encoded values. Buttons configured with both a target and a URL can also redirect as expected.
A note for Quartz users
Redstone 5.1.141 adds Quartz 4.0 support. The release notes flag breaking changes, so customers with Quartz-dependent jobs or custom scheduling should review their setup with their project point of contact before their update window. We will help identify any project-specific checks needed as rollout planning progresses.
Rollout and next steps
The update will be rolled out in stages over approximately 2–3 weeks. Your Nutworkz contact will coordinate timing for your environment and let you know about any checks relevant to your configuration. In the meantime, customers currently on 5.1.81 can note any custom Quartz scheduling or POS integrations they would like to review with us.
We’re looking forward to getting these improvements into your hands. For questions about the rollout or what 5.1.141 means for your environment, get in touch and we’ll work through it with you.
